8-Bit X11 again

…a more permanent solution is to edit ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.x11.plistand change depth to 8 (as opposed to 24).
This can be done with a text editor of if you have the Developer Tools installed with Apple's Property List Editor. The FAQ should be updated with this new tip shortly.

p>Update, I'm pretty sure this is an option in the X11 preferences new, no need edit the plist manually.
