p>This version fixes a number of bugs reported by users in the FITS kernel, IMFORT interface, and various applications. It also adds platform support for the remaining PC-IRAF systems (SUSE, LNUX, FBSD, and SSOL).

p> Of interest to Mac users is the “Compiler optimizations for Mac OS X” that is mentioned in the changes since the last beta.
