New IRAF 2.12.2 Beta Available

A second release candidate for V2.12.2 is now available from
ftp://iraf.noao.edu/pub/V2.12.2-BETA
This version fixes a number of bugs reported by users in the FITS kernel, IMFORT interface, and various applications. It also adds platform support for the remaining PC-IRAF systems (SUSE, LNUX, FBSD, and SSOL).
Of interest to Mac users is the “Compiler optimizations for Mac OS X” that is mentioned in the changes since the last beta.
