DS9 3.0 Issues

p>I got an email today from a user having trouble with IRAF and the new ds9 3.0 binary. It would seem that when using ds9 as a display client for IRAF, the display command would appear to function properly only that ds9 would show nothing but purple and not the image in question.

p>So, if anyone out there has gotten ds9 3.0 to work with IRAF on MacOS X, let me know. So far we’re 0 for 2. Both machines tested so far were running Panther, one with IRAF 2.12.1 and mine with IRAF 2.12.2.
