Tiger and IRAF

p>Near as I can tell, IRAF plays fine with Tiger (MacOS X 10.4). X11 (be sure to install it), ds9, xgterm, and the cl all work fine. I haven’t played too much with Tiger yet, but Spotlight seems highly useful and Dashboard has some potential. I haven’t installed it on my primary Mac yet (my iBook G4) but that’s because the iBook is having some optical drive woes and is currently under repair.

p>I’ve made this web site Safari RSS compliant; that is to say you should see the “RSS” logo appear next to the URL and I’ve changed the rss link to feed:// which seems to be understood by Safari now.
